    Centre for Nonlinear Science

    About

    Centre for Nonlinear Science(CNLS) was established by Dr.R.Radha Associate Professor of Physics in the year 2005 under the auspices of Department of Science and Technology(DST). The centre is mainly focusing its attention on condensed matter physics, nonlinear optics, higher dimentional solitons from the perspective of both integrable and nonintegrable systems. The centre has a reasonably good library and there are four personnel computers and other accessories. The centre has entered into thriving collaborations with IISER, Kolkatta, Pondicherry University, Chinese Academy of Sciences , Beijing, University of Tokyo, Japan etc. The centre has produced one doctoral student Mr.V.RameshKumar who is now doing his post doctoral research at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. There are three graduate students who are pursuing their research programme. The centre has been liberally supported by DST, DAE-NBHM and UGC.
